Primer, enamel, direct-to-rust and specialist aerosols have different preparation and recoat rules. Follow the exact label and technical data sheet.

Paint cannot restore steel lost to corrosion. Have severe pitting or structural loss assessed before coating.

1. Make the surface clean, dry and sound

Remove oil, silicone, salt, dust, loose rust and failing paint. Key sound glossy coatings as directed.

2. Confirm environmental limits

3. Prepare the can and test the pattern
